What is Pepper Lunch?
Pepper Lunch is a Japanese restaurant chain selling dishes on a sizzling hot plate. It is usually served with rice, veggies, sauce, and a type of protein. Once the server takes it out, you can cook and mix it yourself. The hot plate will continue to cook the food, giving it a nice sear. Some of the menu items include beef pepper rice, teriyaki chicken, and Japanese curry plates. They are now over 500 locations in Asia with some locations in the U.S.

Pepper Lunch Rice Cooker Recipe Tips
- Let the beef marinate for 15 minutes. Since it is thinly sliced, it doesn’t take long for the beef to absorb the flavors.
- Once the rice is done, add the butter and stir immediately so the melted butter spreads evenly throughout the rice.
- You can also add more vegetables for variety, such as mushrooms or peas
