Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the salmon for 10–12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 125–130°F for medium or 140°F for fully cooked.
While the salmon bakes, combine soy sauce, hot honey, oyster sauce, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Stir until well blended.

Once the salmon is cooked, spoon the sauce over the fillets and brush to coat evenly. Turn on the broiler and broil for 1 minute, just until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes slightly.

Plate and enjoy immediately. Great with rice, steamed veggies, or a crisp salad.

Honey Soy Salmon Tips
Make sure to pat the salmon dry so the seasonings stick better.
Avoid overbaking—I always use a meat thermometer to check my proteins. For tender, moist salmon, aim for an internal temperature of 125–130°F. For fully cooked salmon, go for 140°F.
Ingredient Substitutes
