  • 2 salmon fillets 6–8 oz each
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 2 tsp oyster sauce
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the salmon for 10–12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 125–130°F for medium or 140°F for fully cooked.
  • While the salmon bakes, combine soy sauce, hot honey, oyster sauce, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Stir until well blended.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, spoon the sauce over the fillets and brush to coat evenly. Turn on the broiler and broil for 1 minute, just until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes slightly.
