Leroy and Lewis

I know this is a Michelin-recognized barbecue spot, but don’t sleep on the burgers. Every Monday, Leroy and Lewis runs a $10 burger special on their L&L burger. You can skip the line and just go straight to the counter and order. The patty is smoked, topped with caramelized onions, and it’s insanely thick and juicy.
Patty Palace
📍439 Industrial Blvd, Austin, TX 78745
Patty Palace is a food trailer with a classic smash burger on a Martin’s potato roll, topped with thick pickles and melty cheese. The patty comes out with perfectly crisp edges every time. I love pairing it with their onion petals; it is crispy on the outside, sweet onion inside. It’s the only spot I know in Austin that does them like this.
Buddy’s Burgers

Buddy’s Burger is a fast-food style spot with a drive-thru in case you are in a rush. Their beef patties are 100% fresh, hand-formed, and cooked to order. My go-to is the spicy burger, which comes with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños, and spicy sauce. Not to mention, I think they have some of the best creamy milkshakes in town. My personal favorite is the Oreo shake!!
Sour Duck

Sour Duck has an amazing happy hour where you can order their single wagyu smash burger for only $6. It’s a classic smash burger with a patty that has an incredible crisp on the edges. Just look at the photo. You can also walk over to the bakery and pick up some of their pastries and baked goods.
