I grew up eating frozen pizzas from DiGiorno and tried different variations like the thin crust, but I had never seen the hand-tossed version. For busy weeknights, I wanted to grab more convenient frozen meals from Costco, so it was a no-brainer to pick up the new Costco Hand-Tossed Supreme DiGiorno pizzas. Read on to see if they are worth the purchase!

What does Hand-Tossed mean?
Hand-tossed refers to the way pizza dough is shaped. Instead of being rolled out, the pizza maker stretches and tosses the dough in the air using their hands rather than other tools. This technique creates a crust that’s airy on the inside with a nice chewy texture. With the DiGiorno Hand-Tossed pizza, the crust is meant to be soft, chewy, and slightly crispy.
Product Overview
Each box comes with three whole supreme pizzas, individually wrapped in plastic. The whole box costs around $14 at Costco. Each pizza has pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, and onions. The pepperoni is made with pork, chicken, and beef.

Costco Hand-Tossed Supreme DiGiorno Rating
This is a great value at Costco, but overall, I find it an average frozen pizza. The crust falls somewhere between thin and thick, and I think it is better than some of the other DiGiorno versions, like the thin crust. The crust came out pretty crispy. Even though I followed the directions on the package, parts of the pizza came out a little soggy while others were crispy, so it was uneven. The sauce was not very flavorful and leaned on the mild side. However, the topping-to-cheese-to-sauce ratio was good.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Remove pizza from wrap.
- Place the pizza directly on the center oven rack.
- Bake 18 minutes.
- Enjoy. Let it stand 5 minutes before enjoying.
Pizza must be cooked thoroughly to 165°F for food safety & quality. Do not allow pizza to thaw. Do not eat pizza without cooking. Ovens may vary, so adjust baking time and temperature as needed. Pizza is done when the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown. Digiorno pizza bakes up fresh & hot, so please use care when handling.
