Another bingsu spot has opened in Austin, Texas, with one other location in Carrollton. Wicked Snow recently opened its doors and is conveniently located near the Hmart plaza. After shopping or grabbing a bite at Hmart’s food court, you can easily stop by for some fluffy bingsu. Check out my review for Wicked Snow Austin to see if it is worth the visit.

Wicked Snow Austin Rating
I gave it a perfect rating because I honestly think it is now the best bingsu spot in the city. With its fluffy, milky texture, it was so refreshing in the Texas heat. I love that they offer more unique flavors like Wicked Gold or black sesame, instead of only fruit combinations. It is on the pricier side, but one small is the perfect size for two people.

Wicked Gold ($14.95)
This comes with injeolmi powder, red bean, and rice cakes. I love that not only was there a scoop of red bean on top, but it was also in the center. Sometimes when you order bingsu, the toppings are only on the surface, so once you reach the bottom, the flavors fade. This isn’t the case with the Wicked Gold. The nuttiness of the injeolmi powder pairs perfectly with the sweet red bean. I loved all the different textures—from the red bean paste and chewy rice cakes to the soft, fluffy milk ice and crunchy almonds.

Black Sesame ($14.95):
This was pretty much the same format as Wicked Gold, but instead of injeolmi powder, it was dusted with black sesame powder. It was delicious, but I prefer the nuttiness of the injeolmi powder. My partner preferred the black sesame, so it just depends on your taste.
