Nongshim has always been one of my favorite instant noodle brands. The original broth is rich, savory, and flavorful, while the thick, curly noodles soak it up perfectly, making every bite bursting with flavor. So when I spotted the Yukgaejang version at Costco, I knew I had to grab it and add it to my instant noodle stash at home. Keep reading to find out if this Costco Nongshim Yukgaejang is a hit or a miss!

Product Overview
Costco’s Nongshim YukGaeJang comes in a six-pack and costs around $12. It comes in convenient bowls where you add water, and it’s ready to go. YukGaeJang is a Korean spicy shredded beef and vegetable soup.

Rating and Review
The noodles are thinner compared to the original Nongshim thick, curly ones. Each bowl comes with a powder seasoning packet and a chili oil packet. The broth was deliciously rich and savory, but the flavor didn’t resemble Yukgaejang. Because of the chili oil, I found it slightly spicier than the original. There were supposed to be beef pieces, but they were so small I could barely notice them. The broth also lacked a deep beef flavor, which was disappointing. While it’s good on its own, the Yukgaejang label makes it fall short in comparison, lowering its score.
