The multinational Mexican fast-food chain Taco Bell recently released a collaboration with Milk Bar, a dessert and bakery chain founded in New York City by Chef Christina Tosi. The Taco Bell Churro is a sweet and crispy treat which puts a celebratory twist on a classic Mexican staple with a birthday cake frosting filling.

The Taco Bell Churro is filled with birthday cake frosting and topped with sprinkles. One order costs $1.99 before tax. However, Taco Bell also offers a Birthday Cake Churro 2-Pack for an additional $1, bringing the price to $2.99 before tax.

Taco Bell Birthday Cake Churro Review
I didn’t have any expectations when trying these churros, but I was pleasantly surprised. These are probably the best churros you can find at any fast-food restaurant. Usually, the frosting or filling in these types of churros is too sweet, but this one had the perfect level of sweetness.
The birthday cake frosting filling reminded me of the Pillsbury Toaster Strudel frosting. On the outside, the churro is coated with pink-colored sugar and sprinkles instead of the classic cinnamon sugar typically found on a churro. It was perfectly fried, with a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior.

I highly recommend the Taco Bell Churro and would definitely come back for more! I hope they release more churro flavors or collaborate with other brands in the future.
