The Trolli Popsicle has taken the internet by storm with its unique texture and appearance. The top half of the popsicle wobbles, which is truly bizarre to see in a frozen treat. Known for its nostalgic, deliciously sour candies, Trolli has now brought this beloved flavor to popsicle form. With such a popular brand turning its signature snack into a frozen treat, it’s no surprise that people have been flocking to Walmart and other grocery stores to grab a box of the Trolli Popsicle!
What is a Trolli?
Founded in Germany in 1975, Trolli is a global brand known for its variety of gummy candies, which are iconic for their addictive sour and sweet flavor. Trolli offers a variety of shapes and flavors, including gummy bears and gummy worms. Some of the flavors include peach, watermelon, and more.
Trolli Popsicle Rating
The flavor tastes just like the actual candy, which is pretty impressive. Since it tastes like the candy, it has that signature sweet and tangy flavor, though it does have an artificial taste. The cherry lemon flavor was pleasant. As the ice cream thaws, the popsicle wiggles even more. When fresh out of the freezer, it doesn’t wiggle as much. The top half has a more jelly-like, somewhat creamy texture, while the bottom half has the traditional icy popsicle texture. Although I love the Trolli brand, I much prefer the traditional gummy candy over its popsicle counterpart. A box of 10 popsicles was $5.22 at my local Walmart in Austin, Texas.
Nutrition Facts
Each popsicle has 140 calories, 33g carbs, and 27g sugar. Not exactly the healthiest, but it is a popsicle at the end of the day.
