I went to Costco the other day and saw this Boba Bam instant boba pack. As a boba tea fanatic, I knew I had to try this product out.
With the spreading of Asian hate, I found it important to support my local Asian businesses. I knew I wanted to try out Boba Bam at Costco and add it to my sweets stash. It is vegan and allergy-free. Unfortunately, these can only be purchased in Texas and Bay Area Costco locations. . The boba ice-cream trend is all in the past, and now it’s all about these boba instant packs!

Boba Bam Brown Sugar Rating
Pricing
I would definitely recommend this Costco Boba Bam product. Each box came with 12 individually wrapped brown sugar boba packets and also 12 individually wrapped black straws. It is $10.99 excluding tax. Essentially, it is around a dollar per package which is significantly cheaper than a boba drink from the store.
Boba Bam Taste
The boba had a good amount of brown sugar syrup, making it sweet, but the sweetness will be subdued with the addition of milk. With milk, it would make a great creamy brown sugar boba drink. You can even add the boba to smoothies, teas, and other beverages. Although the boba wasn’t up to par with the boba at boba shops, this is a great alternative because it is so quick. The texture was bouncy but softer than the standard “perfect” boba. The pack had plenty of brown sugar syrup and each weighed 65 grams.
Boba Bam Instant Boba Pack Cooking Instructions (Microwave)
- Take out an individual pack.
2. Cut a slit in the corner of the packet and place it in a cup.
3. Microwave for 60 seconds.
4. Pour out the contents into a cup.
Instead of a cup of milk, I decided to brew some oolong tea and added it to the boba mixture. I added a dash of milk to make it more creamy. You have full reign of adding whatever teas you want for your boba drink. You can even add the Costco boba to my matcha latte recipe.
