I have really enjoyed Maeil’s café latte drink, so I was intrigued when the same Korean company released an ube-flavored milk drink. I was curious to see how their take on ube would turn out. Let’s find out if the Maeil Ube Flavored Milk Drink from Costco is a hit or a miss.

Product Overview
Each box costs $15.99 and comes with 10 individual cups, each holding about 220 mL. The cups are sealed with a small drinking hole, making them strawless and more sustainable.

About Maeil
Maeil is the parent company of Maeil My Cafe Latte. Maeil Dairies was first founded in 1969 under the name ‘Korea Dairy Processing Company.’ Since then, it has evolved into a multi-brand company dedicated to promoting a healthier society and shaping food culture through innovation and extensive research. As a large and reputable company, Maeil takes pride in its products and offerings.
Rating and Review
Despite being labeled as an ube drink, the flavor comes from purple sweet potato powder, as listed in the ingredient list. It is made with whole milk and has a very subtle sweet potato flavor. It isn’t sweet, and the flavor is on the milder side. It is also more watered down compared to other flavored milk drinks we are familiar with, like the mega-popular banana milk. Personally, I would not pick these up again.
