Puppy Chow Origin
Puppy chow, also known as “Muddy Buddies,” was popularized in the mid-to-late 20th century. It’s a beloved no-bake treat for parties and gatherings. The name comes from its resemblance to the appearance of dog food/dog treats.

Protein Puppy Chow Instructions
Break the rice cakes into smaller pieces and set aside in a bowl.

In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.

Microwave in short increments until fully melted, stirring in between.

Remove from the microwave and immediately add PBfit, swirling until fully incorporated.

Place the rice cake pieces in a zip-top bag.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the rice cakes and shake or toss the bag until all pieces are evenly coated.

Add protein powder and Swerve sweetener as a final coating, shaking to combine.
