These Korean cream cheese garlic bread went viral for a reason! Toasted burger buns are filled with sweet, creamy cheese and coated in a rich garlic butter, similar to the popular bakery version. Thanks to pre-made buns, you can easily recreate this Korean cream cheese garlic bread at home.

Origin
Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a unique twist on traditional garlic bread. Instead of Western-style garlic sticks, this version uses round bread—like milk bread or brioche—cut into wedges. Cream cheese is stuffed between each wedge, and the entire bread is coated in a rich garlic butter mixture. Originally popularized by Korean bakeries, it gained widespread attention through social media.

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread Instructions
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and milk until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, condensed milk, a pinch of salt, egg, and parsley.

Slice each bun into six wedges, but do not cut all the way through—keep the base intact.

Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a Ziploc bag and snip off a corner. Pipe the filling between each wedge of the buns.

Brush the garlic butter mixture all over the buns, making sure to get between the cuts.

Place on a baking tray and bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread Tips
- Try to use slightly stale burger buns. More stale burgers will hold their shape better after adding garlic butter.
- Try to use softened cream cheese. If it is still too lumpy, try microwaving it in 10-second increments until completely smooth.
- Be generous with the cream cheese filling. You can cheese in every bite.
Storage
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
When reheating, you can air fry it at 325 for a few minutes or until toasted.
