Healthy Candy Bar

Ingredients

  • Medjool Dates pitted - I used 12
  • PB Fit or Peanut Butter - I used 1/2 cup pb fit
  • Dark Chocolate Chips - I used 1/3 cup
  • Sea Salt flaky
  • Crushed Peanuts
  • Butter or Coconut Oil for melting chocolate

Instructions

  • If your Medjool dates have pits, remove them. Place the dates on a parchment-lined tray and gently smash them with a cup.
  • Spread a layer of peanut butter or PB Fit on top of the smashed dates.
  • In a bowl, add dark chocolate chips and a small piece of butter or coconut oil. Microwave in short increments, stirring in between, until fully melted.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt and crushed peanuts on top.
  • Place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
  • Once set, take them out and indulge in your delicious, guilt-free treat!
