Rice Cooker Chinese Sausage Rice

A quick and comforting one-pot rice dish made in the rice cooker with Chinese sausage, veggies, and savory seasonings. Easy to prep, full of flavor, and perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 Chinese sausage links sliced
  • 2 shiitake mushrooms sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Add 2 cups of rice to your rice cooker pot, rinse thoroughly, then drain and return the rice to the pot.
  • Add the Chinese sausage links, shiitake mushrooms, chopped onions, frozen corn, soy sauce, chicken bouillon, and oyster sauce.
  • Select the "White Rice" setting on your rice cooker and let it cook.
  • Once done, sprinkle in chopped green onions and give everything a good mix.
  • For a fun presentation, pack the rice into a small bowl to mold it, then flip it onto a plate.
  • Enjoy your flavorful, one-pot rice dish!
