Homemade Strawberry Puree

A sweet and fruity strawberry purée made with fresh strawberries, honey, and a splash of water—perfect for drizzling over desserts, mixing into yogurt, or adding to drinks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 –3 tablespoons water
  • Honey to taste

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, water, and honey.
  • Stir to mix, then bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries soften and the mixture thickens slightly.
  • As it cools, you can blend it into a puree or strain it for a thinner consistency.
  • Serve warm or let cool before storing.
