Greek Yogurt Protein Bagels Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Pinch of salt
  • tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Toppings of your choice: everything bagel seasoning sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or sea salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, Greek yogurt, salt, and baking powder. Mix until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and divide it into 4 equal pieces. Press your thumb through the center to form a classic bagel shape, and shape it.
  • Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each bagel. This gives them a beautiful golden finish.
  • Sprinkle your favorite toppings generously over the egg-washed bagels.
  • Bake the bagels at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let the bagels cool slightly before enjoying warm, fresh, and fluffy homemade bagels!
