Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a buttery lemon pepper sauce. These easy air fryer wings are the perfect appetizer, game day snack, or quick dinner!

Ingredients

  • Chicken Wings
  • 1.5 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Oil spray
  • Lemon Pepper Butter Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tbsp lemon pepper seasoning adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get extra crispy in the air fryer.
  • Season the wings with onion powder, paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Add baking powder and toss until every wing is lightly coated. The baking powder helps create a crispy skin without deep frying.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Add the wings in a single layer.
  • Air fry the wings until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through cooking. Air fry at 400F for 20-25 minutes. Time varies depending on the size of your wings.
  • Meanwhile, make the lemon pepper butter sauce. Melt butter in a small saucepan, then add lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, and honey. Stir until combined.
  • Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl. Pour the lemon pepper butter sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
