Cheesy Garlic Bread

Cheesy Bread with roasted garlic

Ingredients

  • 3 whole heads of garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 baguette halved lengthwise
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Grated Parmesan
  • Dried or fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Slice the tops off the garlic bulbs and place them on a sheet of foil. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Wrap the foil around the garlic and air fry at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until soft and golden.
  • In a bowl, combine softened butter, salt, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and parsley. Squeeze the roasted garlic out of its skins and mash it into the mixture. Stir.
  • Spread the garlic butter generously over the baguette halves. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh or dried parsley, and enjoy warm!
