Air Fried Korean Honey Gochujang Wings

Air fried version for a healthier meal

Ingredients

  • Chicken Wings pat dry
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion powder or garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels for extra crispiness.
  • Season the wings with salt, onion powder (or garlic powder), and baking powder. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Arrange the wings in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 380°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, honey, and vegetable oil. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a pan and simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Once the wings are done, transfer them to the pan with the sauce. Toss until each wing is fully coated in the sticky glaze.
  • Transfer the wings to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
