The Tao Qi Peach and Mango Ice Cream has become a viral sensation on social media due to its aesthetic and stellar reviews from other content creators. As one of the most coveted grocery store ice creams right now, it has become a highly sought-after item. Personally, it took me over a year to finally get my hands on it. Is the Tao Qi Peach and Mango Ice Cream worth all the hype? Read on to find out.
Where can you find Tao Qi Ice Cream?
Based on what I’ve seen on social media, you can find the viral Peach and Mango Ice Cream at certain Asian markets, including 99 Ranch and Hmart. It appears to be available only at select 99 Ranch locations across the country. While I’ve never seen it at 99 Ranch in Austin, I was able to get it at Hmart Austin. You can also purchase it online from Asian food delivery companies like Weee!
Tao Qi Ice Cream Review
The Bad
I gave the ice cream a 4.75 rating; I think it lives up to the hype. One of my first impressions was the amount of packaging involved in the product. The only downside is the steep price point. I was able to buy a pack of three of each of the mango and peach ice creams for $10.99 because there was a sale at Hmart. Normally it is $12.99 at the Austin Hmart location. I’ve seen others buy it for $15.99 at different locations.
The Good
Both the peach and mango ice creams had a subtle fruity flavor on a vanilla-based ice cream with a white chocolate shell. The ice cream texture was smooth, creamy, and velvety, and the flavor profile was not overly sweet. It looks like on Weee!, it is only $9.99.
