Hula Hoops
South San Francisco
The ambience, service, Covid safety protocol, food, and alcohol was top-notch. This place is a must try. I ordered the chicken with ube mochi waffles, ube pina colada, spam/bacon omurice, and the sisig.

Marufuku
Redwood City, San Francisco

Hands down, Marufuku has the best chicken paitan ramen in the bay area. Their chicken is delicately soft while bathed in super creamy, non-oil broth. The noodles are snappy and the egg is cooked to perfection.
Taishoken
San Mateo
Pre-covid, Taishoken consistently had long lines. Usually each visit, you will be waiting for at least an hour. This dedication shows how mind-blowing this place is. They are famous for the dipping noodles or Tsukemen. This is definitely a meal on the heavier side.
