Fruit Salad Origin
Fruit salad does not have a specific origin, as mixing fruits has always been common in many different cultures since the beginning of time. Even in ancient civilizations, the Greeks and Romans combined fruits with honey and wine as a dessert dish. Some cultures enjoy fruit salads with cream, syrups, or even lime and chili; it all depends on their flavor preferences and the country’s native fruits. But in this instance, I am making a fruit salad based entirely on its red color. The creativity is limitless.
