Do you have a lot of spinach left in the fridge but don’t think you can finish it before it starts to rot? I often buy spinach packs at Costco because they’re such a great deal, but as a household of two, it’s challenging to use them up in time. When I know I won’t be able to finish the spinach in time, I like to turn it into frozen spinach cubes. These cubes are great for adding to smoothies for an extra nutrient boost.

Spinach Benefits
- Packed with folate, which promotes cell growth and supports white blood cell production to help the body fight infections.
- High in vitamins A, K, and C.
- Contains iron, which supports oxygen transport in the body.
- Rich in fiber, aiding digestion.
Frozen Spinach Cubes Ingredients
- Fresh spinach
- Water or coconut water
- Ice cube tray or silicone mold
Instructions
To a blender, fill it up with spinach leaves. Depending on your spinach portion, your liquid ratio will vary. Try add a little bit of a time until it is fully blended.

Pour the blended spinach mixture into an ice cube tray or silicone mold.
