I am a huge fan of indulgent chocolate treats, so when I spotted the beautifully packaged Costco Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts in the aisle, I was instantly intrigued. The box claims to feature premium milk chocolate, and the elegant packaging makes it look like the perfect little gift. But the real question is: are these Costco Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts a hit or a miss?

Product Overview

Each set comes with three packages of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. The price is $22.49, which works out to about $8 per box. Each package contains 14 pieces, for a total of 42 pieces in the entire set. Hawaiian Host is the world’s leading brand of premium chocolate-covered macadamia nut products. The recipe for chocolate-dipped macadamias was created by Mamoru Takitani on his home island of Maui. The company was originally called Ellen Dye Candies in Honolulu, but Mamoru purchased it and renamed it to what is now known today as Hawaiian Host.

A portion of the proceeds goes to Mamoru and Aiko Takitani Foundantion and its student scholarship program.

This product will definitely be popular among the sweet-lovers. Each piece has 2 pieces of macadamia nuts. Each piece is pretty sweet but the added macadamia nuts balance it well. Although, it is on the sweeter side, I keep going for more. If you have a lower sweet tolerance, this sweet treat will probably not be for you. Surprisingly, each piece was larger than what I expected. I will disclose a photo and show you.
