Growing up, some of my favorite memories were made around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and building the perfect s’more on a graham cracker. So when I spotted these Caramel S’mores Clusters in the Costco snack aisle, they immediately caught my eye. With milk chocolate, caramel, graham crackers, and marshmallows all in one bite, I knew I needed to make a review on Costco caramel S’mores.

Product History and Heritage
A s’more is a dessert or confection made with melted marshmallows and chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers. Traditionally cooked over a campfire, s’mores are especially popular in the United States and Canada. The name “s’more” is a contraction of the phrase “some more,” and the first recorded recipe appeared in the 1920s. They were already a favorite among Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts at the time.

Costco Caramel S’mores Rating
Taste/Quality:
I really enjoyed the nostalgic flavors of s’mores in this Costco creation. However, just like the real deal, I don’t find myself eating more than a couple in one sitting. The addition of caramel might be a little too sweet for my taste.

Packaging:
The packaging is thick and sturdy, with a convenient resealable closure to keep the clusters fresh.
Value for Money:
There are a lot of clusters in the bag, and each one is fairly large—about the size of a Girl Scout cookie, maybe even slightly bigger.
Pros:
- Has a nice texture with the added graham crackers
- Captures the classic s’mores flavor profile
Cons:
- Was too sweet
- Traditional s’mores still taste better
Recommendation:
Overall, I recommend this product if you’re a fan of sweets and s’mores. The package offers a generous amount of clusters, and they’re rich and decadent. That said, they were a little too sweet for me. I would have preferred them without the caramel, sticking to just marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.
