When I spotted this box of ice cream cones at Costco, I instantly thought of Trader Joe’s iconic Hold the Cone, which is one of my all-time favorite desserts. Naturally, I had to find out if these were a true dupe or just a similar treat with their twist. Keep reading to see how the Costco Brothers Ice Cream Junior Cones stacked up!

Costco Brothers Ice Cream Junior Cones Overview
One box of the Brothers Ice Cream cones comes with 18 individually wrapped snack-sized vanilla cones for $15.20. They are coated in a chocolate shell with rainbow sprinkles and made with real ice cream.
Rating and Review
These were completely different from Trader Joe’s Hold the Cone ice cream. The texture wasn’t as smooth, and the cone wasn’t as crunchy. However, the vanilla ice cream was dense and creamy. I appreciated that it’s made with real ice cream, unlike some brands labeled as ‘frozen dessert.’ The mini size also makes them a great portion-controlled treat; sometimes, regular cones can be a bit too much. Although, this was good and satisfied my ice cream cravings, I think I would rather pick up Trader Joe’s Hold the Cone ice cream.
