CaPhe.in Austin recently opened its doors and is already making waves as the first Vietnamese coffee shop in Austin, Texas. If you’ve ever tried Vietnamese coffee, you know it’s bold, sweet, and incredibly delicious. CaPhe.in takes it to the next level with unique offerings like traditional Vietnamese egg coffee and even ceremonial-style matcha drinks. Read on for my CaPhe.in Austin review.

Soft Opening Experience
There was a pretty long line ahead of us—it took nearly an hour to get our drinks. The space itself is clean, modern, and quite small. With only two tables available, it’s not the most ideal spot for studying or remote work.

CaPhe.in Austin Rating
Ambiance: Casual, small
Price: $
Cuisine: Vietnamese-influenced coffee shop

Their menu consisted of matcha-based drinks, vietnamese coffee drinks, fruit teas, espresso, americanos, and hojicha based drinks.
Drinks I ordered:
Egg Cream Coffee ($7.25): This was hands down my favorite drink of the bunch. The egg foam was incredibly creamy, sweet, and rich.

Mascarpone Latte ($7.50): Still tasty, but it ranked last for me. The cocoa powder on top was a bit overwhelming. I actually coughed on the first sip! Definitely give it a good stir before drinking.

Matcha Einspanner ($7): You can tell they use ceremonial-grade matcha. It had a vibrant green hue and a fresh, earthy flavor. The cream on top was creamy and sweet.
