My name is Jenn, and I am the mastermind behind asipoftexas. I spent most of my youth in Northwest Arkansas, where I was introduced to a handful of local American eateries. While delicious, my hometown had limited options for diverse cuisines. When I moved to Dallas and later to the Bay Area, I experienced an incredible variety of food.
Now, as I settle into the charming city of Austin, I am eager to share my food adventures with locals looking for hidden gems and future Austin transplants in need of a helpful food guide. In addition to exploring the local food scene, I also enjoy sharing a variety of recipes.
During the pandemic, I found the motivation to launch my food blog in 2021, and in 2022, I began creating IG videos to bring my food journey to life.
