It was my boyfriend’s birthday, so we wanted to splurge for his dinner. Roaring Fork stood out to us with 1000’s, mainly positive reviews on Yelp and Google. They’re only open during the evenings so keep that in mind if you’re ever interested in trying this place out! They have three total locations, but we visited the Stonelake location. The Stonelake location has three patio areas with views of the surrounding Quarry lake.
Roaring Fork prides itself on its “wood-fired cooking.” Living by the Old West trends, they believe that the best dishes are prepared on a simple wood fire. They prepare their dishes by a wood fire rotisserie open flame grill or wood oven roasting.

Cuisine: American

Ambiance: Perfect for date night. Classy.
Intolerances: Vegan options, limited vegetarian options
Boned-In Ribeye Steak -22oz ($47)
I saw some inconsistent reviews with the ribeye steak, but when I visited yesterday, I asked for a medium-rare, and the cook executed that perfectly. The steak was evenly cooked and had a beautifully seared crust. It was tender and juicy, which is all I could ever ask for in a steak. For a ribeye cut, I thought there was too much butter.
Crushed Yukon Mash Potatoes: ($8.00)
The side of the crushed Yukon mashed potatoes was creamy and smooth. It had a slightly sweet aftertaste.
Queso Con Puerco ($9.50)
The queso didn’t feel too heavy because the consistency was on the thinner side. It had an addictive spicy kick from the green chilis, which is a nice touch to the creaminess of the queso. The tortilla chips were extra crispy. On the other hand, there could have been more pork in the queso.
Complimentary birthday dessert (free)
You can actually choose anything from the dessert menu for birthdays. We got the creme brulee and were pleasantly surprised at the portion size.
