Where did Chili Oil come from?
Chili oil originates from China and rose to prominence as a staple in Chinese households. It likely became popular with the rise of Sichuan cuisine, known for its bold, numbing spices. Today, chili oil is enjoyed in many different cultures around the world. It can be used in many food items like eggs, rice, and even ice cream.
