Since I was a child, I have always been obsessed with Oreos. There’s something so satisfying about dipping them in milk and enjoying the way the cookies melt in your mouth. I love how the chocolatey crumbs blend into the milk, creating that delicious flavor. From Oreo cereal to anything Oreo-flavored, I couldn’t get enough. So, it was a no-brainer for me to create my own Oreo ice cream. With just simple ingredients, this 3 ingredient Oreo ice cream is both delicious and ridiculously easy to make!
Oreo Origin
Oreos are iconic chocolate sandwich cookies with a creamy filling, first introduced by Nabisco in 1912. Over a century later, they remain one of the best-selling cookies worldwide and have inspired countless dessert flavors and variations.
3 Ingredient Oreo Ice Cream
- 12-15 crushed Oreos
- 6 larger pieces of Oreos for topping
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 can condensed milk: Add to desired sweetness. Add less if you like your ice cream less sweet.
Oreo Ice Cream Instructions
Place Oreos in a ziplock bag and crush them using a rolling pin or the bottom of a cup until you have small chunks.
In a large mixing bowl, add the heavy whipping cream. Whisk using a hand mixer (or by hand) until stiff peaks form.
Mix in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
Stir in most of the crushed Oreos, saving a handful for the topping.
Pour the mixture into a loaf pan or container. Sprinkle the remaining Oreos on top.
Cover and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Scoop and enjoy your homemade Oreo ice cream! Thaw ice cream for 5-10 minutes before scooping.
